Welcome to Weymouth Township's web site. It features information about Weymouth Township, its history, environmental resources, boards, organizations, and links to other websites of interest.
Weymouth Township located in the southwest section of Atlantic County in the New Jersey Pinelands or Pine Barrens and contains the towns of Belcoville and Dorothy. It covers an area of 12.12 square miles, is bordered by the Great Egg Harbor River, South River, and Tuckahoe River, and is largely rural. The area was settled in the late 1600's when Weymouth Township once comprised the area of what is now Atlantic County.

Veterans History Project
Information about the Veterans History Project will be
presented on Tuesday January 22nd at 7:00 P.M. at the
Township of Weymouth Municipal Building, located at 45 South Jersey Avenue
in Dorothy. The collection and
preservation of accounts from veterans and civilians is coordinated by
Library of Congress. The speaker
is Sheryl Collins, an interviewer and trainer of volunteers for this
project. The public and officials are invited.
