Bulk Trash Pickup

Bulk trash is contracted by Weymouth Township to be picked up by Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) each Thursday along with regular Trash Pick-up; four items are allowed each week. Large items generated by your household such as furniture, toys, and mattresses… make up “Bulk Waste”. Please use common sense when placing items out for collection.

The trash men cannot and will not deal with items that weigh hundreds of pounds or an entire basement, attic, or garage contents dumped in a large pile.

Carpet is accepted but must be rolled into a bundle and tied with twine.

Electronics will be picked up curbside on the second Tuesday of each month by the Weymouth Township Department of Public Works (WTDPW), for info call for details.
BULK TRASH IS NOT:

Tires
Propane tanks
Electronics – computers, monitors, TVs, etc. (picked up second Tuesday of each month)
Toxic substances - paint, oil, antifreeze, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, etc.
Building materials of any kind- lumber, sheetrock, kitchen/bathroom cabinets, etc.
The above items will not be picked up by any haulers contracted with Weymouth Township. You must arrange privately to dispose of these items or call the Atlantic County Utilities Authority for information at 609-272-6950 or 1-800-613-ACUA.
Belcoville Yard Waste Program

Yard waste (leaves, brush, grass, branches) is contracted by Weymouth Township to be picked up by Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) once a month on the 3rd Thursday from single-family homes in Belcoville only. Please put loose material in labeled cans or bags; plastic bags are not permitted. Bags should not exceed 50 lbs. Brush/branches must be bundled and tied with twine. They should not exceed 4 foot in length or 8 inches in diameter or exceed 50 lbs.

Please use common sense when placing items out for collection. The recycle men cannot and will not deal with items that weigh hundreds of pounds or an entire yard dumped in a large pile.
YARD WASTE IS NOT:

Building materials of any kind.
Fences of any kind.
Logs exceeding 8 inches in diameter.

Snowplowing Township Roadsdpw_snowplow

SnowplowPublic Works first tries to clear the main arteries to provide access through the Township and routes for the Emergency Services. The Township streets will be started when they become a plow able depth. Because of the number of streets in the Township, not everyone can be first, so please have patience during a storm and we will work as safely and quickly as possible to clear your streets.
